“A Mother of a Dinner” Saturday May 12 at the Perth Lions Hall.

Perth Lion’s Hall
Perth Fairgrounds, Halton and Arthur Streets
Saturday May 12, doors open at 6pm

Last spring the Mother of a Dinner (MOD) successfully generated $11,000 in donations – translating into over 40 stoves that were built for families in Guatemala during the past year.

On May 12, 2018 Jordan Kennie (owner of Picnic Catering) along with guidance from Perth’s new Syrian women will create a mouth-watering Middle Eastern-themed dinner for you. There will be vegetarian and gluten free options. Cocktails begin at 6 pm, appetizers at 6:45pm, and dinner served at 7:15 pm. There will be a silent auction featuring Mayan handicrafts.

Advance ticket purchase will ensure you have your table of 8. Please designate a lead contact for your table for ease of table location the evening of the MOD. You know tickets will sell out quickly for this event, so buy yours now!

Tickets are available online right here. Tables of 8 for $400 ($50 pp) .  Single now tickets available $60 pp. Select the number of seats or tables you want after selecting an option and clicking the “Buy Now” button”. A $30 tax receipt will be issued for each ticket purchased. Please submit your guest list after payment.

All proceeds from this Mother’s Day meal event will benefit Mayan mothers as they will be used to build improved cooking stoves in Guatemala.
